The indelible, sharp sense of place we have in Maine – living on small rural island on the far northern reaches of the US and at the edge of the North American Continent - is prominent in my work. Through painting, installation, sculptural work, and hybrid performance installations within the natural landscape, I explore ways for mysterious and personal narratives to unfold where curiosities, historical, antihistorical and idiosyncratic artifacts, the documentary and the fantastic combine.
